Food, fun and the biggest fireworks show in town await you at KCRiverFest, July 3rd and 4th at Richard Berkley Riverfront Park. KCRiverFest is in its sixth year of celebrating America’s Independence, Kansas City style.

Presented by Friends of the River-KC, KCRiverFest starts at 1 p.m. on July 3rd with great rock and pop bands, tasty foods and great beer and other beverages. July 3rd’s fun wraps up with a special preview show from internationally-renowned Zambelli Fireworks. (Visit www.KCRiverFest.com for the latest schedule updates.)

The July 4th fun starts at 1 p.m., with fantastic country and jazz music. Try a variety of foods including corn dogs, good old KC barbecue, ice cream and taco in a cone as you stroll the lush grounds of Richard Berkley Riverfront Park, operated by the Kansas City Port Authority.

Kids will love the special Children’s Zone, featuring entertainment by Radio Disney and lots of cool rides and inflatables. This year marks the inauguration of a new tradition: the Annual KCRiverFest KC Sprint Championships. The races begin at 3 p.m. July 4th as river racers challenge themselves and their competitors on the Mighty Missouri. Of course, you’ll have the best seat in the house as the festival culminates with 18-plus minutes of high altitude fireworks over the Missouri River.

Tickets at the gate are only $6, children 5 and under get in free. CLICK HERE to get discounted tickets!
